This map shows the zoning of the Astrakhan region. The latest OSM data was used to create the map. Also, separate classification took place for individual objects, and individual elements from the attribute table were taken for roads.
The map shows the almost uniform topography of the entire region, which, for example, distinguishes the Astrakhan Region from other subjects of the Russian Federation, such as the Krasnodar Krai or the Republic of Dagestan.
Based on the materials above, you can determine the location of key facilities in the Astrakhan region. The maps combine different spatial coverage, which allows you to consider their location relative to each other.
A special feature of this cartographic material is the use of a tool to calculate the distances between two points. The open-source GIS QGIS was used to create the map and layout. The ORS Tools tool made it possible to create a path for calculating the distance based on the OSM substrate.
